Stabile Companies Director of Project Management Earns LEED® AP
Designation |
(NASHUA,
NH) – John Pietroniro, Director of Project
Management for The Stabile Companies, has earned
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
Accredited Professional (LEED® AP) credentials. LEED®
APs have demonstrated a thorough understanding of
green building practices and principles and the LEED®
Green Building Rating System, a third party
certification program for the design, construction
and operation of high performance green buildings.
LEED® APs pass a rigorous exam that tests their
knowledge of the principles of green building
design, construction and operation. Once they
receive their accreditation from The Green Building
Certification Institute, LEED® APs are qualified to
facilitate the LEED® certification process for new
or renovated buildings.
“The Stabile Companies has always sought to minimize
the impact that our buildings and communities have
on the environment. The LEED® rating system is
becoming the recognized standard and is growing in
popularity and demand. With the LEED® training, I
will be better able to guide our efforts to
construct the most environmentally sensitive
buildings possible,” comments Pietroniro.

Stabile Companies & Nashua Pride show support for Nashua Soup
Kitchen |
(NASHUA, NH) – Employees of The
Stabile Companies and the Nashua Pride recently donated more than
250 food and personal care items to the Nashua Soup Kitchen and
Shelter. Participants also donated $120 in grocery store gift cards
to support Nashua’s needy families.
“Our company and our employees are committed to Nashua. The city has
played a big role in our success and we wanted to do something
special to give back to the community to express our appreciation,”
explains John Stabile, chairman of The Stabile Companies and owner
of the Nashua Pride.
The food drive was conducted between December 3-14. Shelley Jackson,
food drive coordinator for The Stabile Companies, delivered the
donations on December 14, 2007.

Stabile Homes Honored with Six Home Builder Awards |
(NASHUA,
NH) – Stabile Homes, Inc. of Nashua, NH, one of the largest
residential construction companies in New Hampshire, received six
Cornerstone Awards from the Home Builders and Remodelers Association
of New Hampshire at the organization’s annual awards ceremony on
June 14, 2007. The Cornerstone Awards recognize excellence in the
building industry in a variety of categories including construction,
design and marketing.
Stabile Homes received the top Gold award for its marketing brochure
for The Reserve at Federal Hill, a detached condominium community
located in Milford, NH. The company also received Gold awards for
its semi-annual newsletter and for a black and white ad that ran
last fall featuring all Stabile Homes communities.
The Fells at Amherst community was also recognized with a Silver
Award for Condo Cluster Community over $250,000. The Fells at
Amherst is a community of luxury detached condominiums offering four
styles of homes, a clubhouse with exercise room, outdoor pool and
walking trails.
The company also received an additional Silver award for its model
home at The Gables at Manchester, a tri-level townhome community
with a Victorian flair. The Reserve at Federal Hill also won a
Bronze award for its model home.

Stabile Homes and The Nashua Pride Give $16,000 to The Turtle Ridge
Foundation |
(NASHUA,
NH) – Nashua, NH-based Stabile Homes and the Nashua Pride were the
hosts of a successful charity golf tournament on July 25, 2007 at
the Overlook Golf Club in Hollis to benefit Bode Miller’s Turtle
Ridge Foundation.
Bode Miller, who founded the Turtle Ridge Foundation with his family
back in 2005, was on hand to golf, along with approximately 100
community leaders, family members and foundation employees. The
$16,000 was raised through sponsorships, golfing, a silent auction
and raffle. Some of the money was also raised during Miller’s
appearance at the Nashua Pride game the prior evening.
Through various charity events, the Turtle Ridge Foundation has been
able to fund and/or support the Boys & Girls Club of America,
adaptive ski programs (organizations that provide skis and equipment
to kids & adults with disabilities), inner city youth sports
programs, cancer treatment centers, provide ski racing scholarships
to deserving children and have dispensed thousands of dollars worth
of warm jackets to kids in need. TRF also supports organic farming,
sustainable living, and organizations that protect nature’s precious
resources.
