Stabile Construction Services Awarded Contract for an Additional Four Cottages at the Huntington at Nashua

(NASHUA, NH) – Stabile Construction Services of Nashua, NH has been awarded a contract to build an additional four cottage homes at The Huntington of Nashua, a life care retirement community for active retirees. Located at 55 Kent Lane in Nashua, The Huntington is a not-for-profit community that currently offers 124 luxury apartments, indoor pool, movie-theater, woodworking, arts/crafts rooms, an exercise/wellness center and on-site assisted living and nursing care.

Stabile Construction Services completed the first six cottage homes back in 2009 and all units have been sold. This group of four cottages, two free-standing and one duplex unit, is the second phase of a total of 23 cottages to be built. Ground breaking is scheduled for early April with an anticipated completion set for October 2011.

The cottage homes will be available in floor plans ranging from 1,792 to 2,197 square feet. All cottages will feature two bedrooms plus a home office, a full kitchen, great room, 2 ½ bathrooms, two-car garage, and a deck and porch. When the entire project is completed, fourteen of the cottages will also offer a full, walk out basement.

Stabile Construction Services has extensive experience building for retirement communities and health-care clients. More than a decade ago, the company had completed renovations for The Hunt Community, a continuing care retirement community that is the sister property to The Huntington at Nashua.
